3806 BUFFWOOD DR, Baker, LA 70714

About this property

Five bedrooms, three baths, and a live oak that steals the show. Tucked into established Buffwood in Baker, this two-story sits under a sprawling oak with a fully fenced backyard big enough for whatever you have in mind. The big stuff is already done new flooring through the main living areas and fresh paint throughout the house. The living room anchors around a working wood-burning fireplace framed in brick, with built-in shelving and a desk nook alongside it, and sliding doors that open to a covered patio out back. The kitchen keeps its double wall ovens, cooktop, and a wall of cabinet storage most homes this age don't have. Off the front, a bonus room with a full picture window looks out on the oak office, den, playroom, whatever your life needs it to be. There's a separate dining room as well. One bedroom sits downstairs with a full bath on the same floor the kind of layout that's hard to find and harder to give up. Four more bedrooms upstairs off a central landing, served by two full baths, including one bedroom with an oak-canopy view out the window. The bathrooms are the last thing on the list. All three are original and waiting on someone with a Pinterest board and a free weekend the fun part, with none of the heavy lifting left to do. Fenced yard, mature shade, real square footage, and room to make it yours.
